Easyimate / Compare / Animaker
The Animaker alternative that makes the whole video from your description
Animaker gives you an editor full of templates, characters and stock assets: you build each scene, set the timing and add a voice. Easyimate starts from a description — it writes the narration, plans each scene, shows you key frames to approve and animates the whole video, with voiceover, music and captions.
1 free video · No credit card · Runs in your browser
Made from a short brief: “Explain how compound interest works.” 55 seconds, unedited.
Two ways to make an animated video
Both give you a narrated animated video. What changes is how much of it you build by hand.
Animaker
You assemble the video in an editor
- Pick a template or start from a blank project.
- Add characters, props and backgrounds from the library to each scene.
- Set actions, timing and transitions on the timeline.
- Record or generate a voiceover and sync it to the scenes.
- Add music and export within your monthly download limit.
Easyimate
You describe it and approve the plan
- Describe the video in a sentence or paste your script. Say the audience, length and look.
- Review the narration, scene plan and key frames — ask for changes as often as you like.
- Pick a voice and confirm; Easyimate animates the video and emails you when it's ready.
- Download the MP4 with music and an SRT caption file, and ask for up to 3 changes.
Easyimate vs Animaker
Animaker details are based on its own pricing page, checked on October 24, 2026. That page showed more than one price for some plans, so we list the yearly-billed price shown on the plan cards. Check the vendor before you buy.

When Easyimate is the better fit
- You want a finished video from an idea, not a template to fill in.
- Editing scene by scene on a timeline is what slows you down.
- You want looks beyond one character style — whiteboard, motion graphics, maps or 3D.
- You need the same video in several languages, or a vertical 9:16 version.
- You'd rather pay for minutes of video than count downloads.
When Animaker may suit you better
- You want to pose characters and time every action yourself.
- You need single videos longer than 5 minutes.
- You rely on stock video footage or live-action clips.
- Your team already has templates and brand kits set up there.
Switching takes one brief
There's nothing to import. Take a video you'd normally build in the editor and try it this way.
Describe the video
Topic or script, audience, length and look — a sentence is enough to start.
Approve the plan
Every line comes with what its scene shows, plus a few key frames. Ask for changes to wording, characters or whole scenes — free, as often as you like.
Get the video
Pick a voice and confirm. We email you when it's ready; download the MP4 plus an SRT file.
Questions
Is Easyimate a good alternative to Animaker?
If you use Animaker to make explainers, lessons or promos, Easyimate does the same job without the editor: you describe the video, it writes the narration, plans every scene, shows you key frames to approve, then animates it with voiceover, music and captions. If you want to build scenes yourself from a large library of templates, characters and stock assets, Animaker gives you more manual control.
How is Easyimate priced compared with Animaker?
Easyimate charges for the minutes of video you make: Starter is $19 a month for 15 minutes, and extra time starts at $2.99 a minute and never expires. Planning and changes to the plan are free. Animaker's paid plans count downloads per month; on October 24, 2026 its pricing page listed Starter at $25 a month billed yearly with 10 premium downloads.
Can Easyimate make character animation like Animaker?
Easyimate draws illustrated characters and scenes in almost any 2D or 3D style you describe, and different characters can speak with different voices. It does not have a character builder with hand-picked poses and lip-sync controls; describe what the characters do and it animates them.
Which languages can the voiceover use?
Narration and on-screen text can be in 31 languages, including Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese, on the free video too. Paid plans have more voices for each language. See videos in other languages.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. New accounts get 1 free video up to 2 minutes after email verification, in 480p with a small watermark. No credit card is needed.
